How we use your funded hours
We’re open 48 weeks per year, and our nursery year runs from 1st September to 31st August.
Any government-funded hours your child is entitled to are spread (“stretched”) across the weeks they attend during this period, rather than used up in one term.
Because of this, your monthly fee will depend on:
1. When your child joins us (for example, September vs April), and
2. How many funded hours they are entitled to between their start date and the following 31st August.
At the start of each September, the funded hours reset, and we recalculate your monthly fee for the new nursery year. This means your monthly fee may look different from September, even if your booked days stay the same.
Funding example
- If a child starts with us on 1st September and is eligible for funding from that point, we will usually be spreading their funded hours over the whole nursery year (September–August).
- If a child starts with us later, for example in April, they may only receive funding for the remaining term(s) in that nursery year. That means there are fewer funded hours to use between their start date and 31st August, so the discount applied each month will be different, and their monthly fee may be higher than a child who has been funded with us from September.
All monthly figures below assume:
- 8am–6pm (10 hours/day)
- £105 per day
- Fees are shown as a consistent monthly amount across our charging year
- Bank holidays are closed but charged as normal

Because our year runs 1 September to 31 August, and funded hours only run up to the week beginning 13 July 2026, the later your child starts, the fewer funded weeks remain — so your monthly fee may be higher.

We accept children from 6months – 4 years old. Unfortunately, we do not accept government funding for children over 2 years old however . Please contact us for more details
To access funding, you will need to apply through childcare choices here. You will then receive a unique code which you will need to complete the registration.
